Qualcomm Inc.’s loss to Broadcom Corp. in a patent fight by push-to-talk technology is a minor, analysts said Friday. A federal judge ruled Thursday that Qualcomm, the developer of wireless technology, violated a ban on walkie-talkie functions owned by Broadcom, and ordered it to pay the gross profits from its QChat service.
