This is a home fish tank with a difference. The Refrigerator Aquarium is designed to produce food that you can eat. At the bottom of the fish tank is another tank that contains freshwater fish, and at the top there are pods for growing vegetables. The
plants filter the water for the fish, and the fish fertilize the water for the plants.
The Local River concept is based on the locavore philosophy, which advocates eating locally produced foods.
