Verizon Wireless And Alltel Merger Approved

Look out AT&T, the proposed merger amidst Verizon Wireless and Alltel have just been okayed by the division of Justice, and both companies when merged, are on the brink of becoming the largest wireless carrier in the nation. The final obstacle remains in the hands of the Federal Communications Commission, where they will pass a vote on the deal that November 4th.
